Near MRT station Kind staff Big Room Big bathroom Aircon is working great

I can hear a lot of noises at next door's. Flooring are old, there are uneven place when you walk around the room. No new coffee refill on the next day we stayed :( elevator is small Water heater (for coffee) already got rust

The staff were friendly and the room I had looks the same in the picture.

The housekeeping is not so good. I can still see hairs on the floor after my room cleaned up.

Good and relaxing stay

Have been staying at this hotel whenever I come to Taipei for a visit. The hotel is quite near the Tamsui MRT and Wenhu line so it is very convenient to get around. The room that I stayed has window that can see Taipei 101 clearly which is a bonus. Room is very clean and comfortable.

Good

I really liked the location. It is only a 2 minute walk from the Daan MRT station. It made it very convenient to get around. This is an ideal spot if you plan to go to Tapei 101 or plan to take the HSR at Taipei Main Station during your stay. Its in a prime location to get to these two popular spots. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The staff was super nice because I left my airport at the front desk when I checked in. When I was returning from breakfast they recognized my face and waived me down to return it to me. It was super thoughtful.

I didn't like how old my room felt. It feels like it needs a facelift. The cupboards had no handles so it was difficult to hang my clothes and open. The restroom was nice but I have experienced nicer. Also, there was no thermostat!!! My room got very uncomfortably warm, and there was nothing I could do about it. That was the biggest frustration of my stay. Other than that, it was a pretty standard hotel room.

short stay is okay

The MRT is nearby for the blue line and red line. I also ordered breakfast which wasn't perfect as five stars though, still it serves many choices for guests. My personal quirk is that I like the material of toilet because it looks like marbles.

The wall of bathroom is transparent glass and the air-conditioner can not be adjusted. Their AC was designed only for open and close; that is, people can not change the temperature. The facility actually looks a little bit old but that doesn't affect its function.

The room needed a thorough cleaning...

The room I had was so dirty and dusty it triggered my dust allergy making me feel quite ill. The ornate ceiling plasterwork had clearly not be properly cleaned for quite a while. My stay was ruined. We only stayed one night of the two and they refused to refund the second night.

Good value hotel

Very good value for money. Room comfortable. We were in the back, so pretty quiet. Might have been noisier in front. MRT station one block away, so convenient. All in all, a good mid-price place to stay. Would stay there again.

Could have used a bit of de-humidification. Room smelled a little damp.

Good location, acceptable for one night

Staff were nice, bed was comfy. Convenient location 2 mins from metro stop

Breakfast was substandard, the food looked really unappetizing and the breakfast is served in the cramped dark basement. Bathroom setup is strange and impractical. No real shower, more like a wet room- just a hand-shower on the wall, too low to be used as an actual shower

Not worth your money.

The receptionist (most probably the owner) was very nice. Location is also great, just 2 minutes walk from da an station.

The rooms are old and dirty, I had a sauna in my room that didn't work. The soap I was given was used as it was already open and half empty. I paid a really high price for a bad experience.

Just the location

Location is good. 10 min walk to sogo and restaurants everywhere. Staff is friendly and professional.

The hotel is old. On my floor there are only 4 rooms in total. It feels like back in the 90s. Cleanness was okay. But the furnitures are very dated. Smells of moulds inside the lift.

Not to recommend.

Location and that’s it. We weren’t able to evaluate the personnel because of our one night stand.

The room was very old and not cleaned enough. The whole equipment needs to be upgraded. Air conditioning wasn’t working as expected, the room was entirely wet when we woke up. Cheap but to expensive for the room.
